We’re so excited to capture beautiful memories with you during your upcoming mini session! To ensure everything runs smoothly and you get the most out of your session, here are some helpful tips to make your experience stress-free and enjoyable.

1. Arrive On Time Our mini sessions are designed to be quick and efficient, typically lasting 10 minutes. Arriving on time is crucial to make the most of your session. We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes early so you can get settled and ready to go when it’s your turn. Late arrivals may result in reduced session time.

2. Plan Your Outfits in Advance Choose outfits that complement the theme of the session and coordinate well with each other. For example:

  • For Valentine’s Minis: Think pinks, reds, whites, or soft neutral tones.

  • For Snowball Minis: Cozy sweaters, scarves, and winter accessories.

  • For Confetti Minis: Bright, celebratory colors or classic attire for a pop of fun. Make sure everyone is comfortable in their outfits, and don’t forget to try them on ahead of time to ensure the perfect fit.

3. Bring Any Necessary Props While we provide a beautiful setup, feel free to bring small, meaningful props that match the theme. For example:

  • A favorite stuffed animal or toy for kids

  • A bouquet of flowers for Valentine’s Minis

  • Matching hats or scarves for Snowball Minis

4. Keep Everyone Well-Rested and Fed Ensure that little ones (and adults!) are well-rested and have had a snack before the session. A good mood goes a long way in creating happy, natural photos.

5. Relax and Have Fun The best photos come when you’re enjoying the moment. Trust us to guide you through poses and prompts to capture your natural smiles and interactions. If something unexpected happens, embrace it—sometimes those candid moments make the best memories!

6. Be Ready to Go Since these sessions are short, it’s important to arrive camera-ready. Check hair, makeup, and outfits before your session begins to avoid last-minute adjustments.

7. Review the Details Double-check the session date, time, and location so you’re fully prepared. If you have any questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out to us in advance.

We Can’t Wait to See You! Thank you for choosing Kate Buckles Photography for your mini session. We’re excited to create beautiful images that you’ll cherish for years to come. See you soon!
